TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE No. 9-14 RE: CHIEF INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICER ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING - REGISTRATION & HOTEL - DECEMBER 12, 2014

 

The next meeting of the Chief Information Advisory Committee will take place on Friday, December 12, 2014 in Washington, DC. The meeting will take place at the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005. The Committee meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at approximately 3:00 p.m.  PLEASE REMEMBER TO SUBMIT YOUR DISCUSSION TOPICS FOR “SHOP TALK” ON THE ATTACHED FORM.

Committee Dinner

A Committee dinner is scheduled for the evening of December 11 and additional details are forthcoming. Committee members (or their substitutes) electing to attend the committee dinner will pay the standard amount of $105.00 via credit card as part of the registration process. Please note, if you confirm attendance for the dinner and cancel within 3 business days of the scheduled event, you will be charged for your portion of the pre-arranged dinner.

Hotel

A block of rooms at the Westin City Center, 1400 M Street, NW, Washington, DC 202/429-1700 are reserved for Committee members. The room rate is $209 single/double, please reserve a room using this link: Westin City Center. Rooms are limited. The hotel requires all reservations be guaranteed with a one night’s deposit by Monday November 10, 2014 to receive the room block rate. Deposits are refundable if the hotel receives notice of cancellation at least 72 hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.

Cybersecurity Forum

The Investment Company Institute’s first Cybersecurity Forum will be held on Thursday, December 11 in Washington DC at the Westin City Center. Consider registering for this important industry event via this link: Cybersecurity Forum. In addition, there is a Forum dinner planned for the evening of December 10 that will include a speaker.
