Reminder - December 9 CCO Committee Meetings; Registration Open with Limited Space

TO: CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER COMMITTEE No. 8-14 RE: REMINDER - DECEMBER 9 CCO COMMITTEE MEETINGS; REGISTRATION OPEN WITH LIMITED SPACE

 

As you may recall, the Institute’s CCO Committee will meet in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, December 9th at ICI’s offices at 1401 H Street, NW. The full CCO Committee will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Advisory Issues Subcommittee will meet from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. A dinner will also be held that evening following the meetings. More information about the dinner will be available once details are finalized. The ICI Securities Law Developments Conference [*] will follow December 10th at the Capital Hilton.

You may register for the Committee and Subcommittee meetings through the following link: www.ici.org/reg/cco. Please note that the number of attendees at the meeting is limited, so persons interested in attending the meeting should register as soon as possible. Also, no substitutes will be allowed to attend. We will maintain a waiting list once our registration capacity is reached and, if we have any cancellations, we will register persons from the waiting list for the meeting on a first-come-first-serve basis. We regret any inconvenience to members.

Closer to the meeting date we will ask attendees to provide an issue (or question) for discussion at the Committee and/or Subcommittee meeting and indicate any regulatory, legislative, or other updates you are interested in receiving. Once we have gathered this information, we will put together a draft agenda for each meeting and circulate to attendees in advance of the meeting.  [*] While there is no charge for attending the Committee meetings, members interested in also attending the conference must register for it separately at http://www.ici.org/events/upcoming/conf_14_seclaw and pay a conference registration fee of $1,025.
