TO: TAX COMMITTEE No. 24-14 RE: CALL TO DISCUSS PROPOSED REGULATIONS ON CONTROLLED GROUPS - WED., JULY 30, AT 2:30 P.M. ET

 

The Institute recently discussed with the Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) our comments on the proposed regulations under section 851 regarding controlled groups. [1]  The IRS asked a few factual questions that we would like to discuss with the Tax Committee.  Therefore, we will have a short call on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at 2:30 p.m. to discuss these questions.  The dial-in number for the call is 888-972-9676 and the passcode is 54465.
