July 15 Conference Call to Discuss Tax Issues in New Indian Union Budget

INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE No. 20-14 RE: JULY 15 CONFERENCE CALL TO DISCUSS TAX ISSUES IN NEW INDIAN UNION BUDGET

 

An interactive conference call to discuss the new Indian Union Budget will be held on Tuesday, July 15, at 11:00 a.m. (Eastern) with Indian tax adviser Russell Gaitonde from BMR Advisors.  Specifically, the call will include a discussion of:

  1. Key policy announcements that are made by the Indian Government as part of the Union Budget; these announcements could address regulatory reform and liberalisation measures to be taken.
  2. Key Direct Tax amendments included in the Union Budget and their relevance to foreign portfolio investors.
  3. Key Indirect Tax amendments included in the Union Budget and their relevance to foreign portfolio investors.

A PowerPoint presentation will be circulated in advance of the call.
