RE: DOL SCHEDULES HEARING ON 404(C) REGULATION

Attached is a notice of the hearing scheduled by the
Department of Labor on its proposed regulation under ERISA
section 404(c) regarding participant directed individual account
plans. The hearing is scheduled for July 11 - 12, 1991.
Interested persons must request to be heard in writing by
3:30 p.m. on June 28, 1991. The written request must be
accompanied by seven copies of an outline of the topics to be
discussed, indicating the time allocated to each topic, and sent
to the Office of Regulations and Interpretations, Pension and
Welfare Benefits Administration, Room R-5669, U.S. Department of
Labor, Washington, DC 20210, ATTN: Section 404(c) Hearing.
Individuals who did not file written comments may provide oral
comments at the hearing.
