The next meeting of the Variable Insurance Products Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Friday, June 27, 2014, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time in the 12th Floor Conference Room and should conclude no later than 2:30 p.m. Lunch will be served. Please note that this meeting is in person and we will not have a dial-in option available. We hope you will be able to join us.
We are pleased to have several guest speakers joining us for the meeting. Bill Kotapish and Susan Nash, of the SEC’s Division of Investment Management, will be joining us to discuss recent SEC initiatives in the insurance products area. We are also pleased to announce additional guest speakers: Larry Kosciulek, Director of Investment Companies Regulation and Pramit Das, Assistant Director, Advertising Regulation, and Joe Savage, Vice President & Counsel, Investment Companies Regulations, will be joining us to discuss FINRA initiatives impacting variable insurance products and funds.
