TO: INTERNAL AUDIT ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 3-14 RE: NOTICE OF INTERNAL AUDIT ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING IN DENVER ON JUNE 10; INFORMAL DINNER ON JUNE 9; RSVP BY JUNE 4

 

As we previously informed you via email on April 1st, the next meeting of the Internal Audit Advisory Committee of the Investment Company Institute (ICI) is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the offices of Janus in Denver, Colorado.  The meeting will be at Janus’s Denver Branch Office – Galleria, which is located at 720 South Colorado Boulevard.  An informal dinner of the Committee will be held the evening of Monday, June 9th.  The dinner will be held at La Merise Restaurant, 2700 E. 3rd Ave., beginning at 6:30 p.m.  If you plan to attend the meeting and/or dinner you must register as indicated below no later than Wednesday, June 4th.  While there is no charge to attend the meeting, members attending the dinner will be billed $98 at the time of registration to cover the cost of the meal.  Also, when you register, you will be asked to submit issues for discussion at the meeting, which will be included in the final meeting agenda. 

With respect to the meeting agenda, in addition to the issues raised by members, we will have two guest speakers at the meeting – PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG, who will present on the topics of cybersecurity and vendor management/omnibus oversight.  Committee member Jim Risbon is also expected to provide some feedback he received from members when he recently surveyed them regarding their vendor risk management practices.
