TO: MONEY MARKET FUNDS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 9-14 RE: REMINDER - MAY 8 MONEY MARKET FUNDS ADVISORY COMMITTEE; AGENDA ATTACHED
A meeting of the Money Market Funds Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the ICI’s offices, 1401 H St. NW, Washington, DC in the David Silver Conference Room. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. Eastern and should conclude by 2:00 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be served. The agenda is attached.
Diane Blizzard, Sharon Pichler, Sarah ten Siethoff, and Jennifer Marietta-Westberg from the SEC will attend to discuss the SEC’s initiatives toward money market reform. Matthew Rutherford, Jamie Franco, and John Dolan from the U.S. Treasury will also attend to discuss Treasury’s new floating rate notes. Other special guests include Joel Friedman, from Standard and Poor’s, and Robert (Rory) Callagy from Moody’s who will discuss the impact of regulatory reform on money market fund rating methodologies.
