Information about, and registrations links for, upcoming meetings and events for ICI’s International Committee in May 2014 is provided below. Please pay particular attention to the dates of these events and the days of the week on which they fall as there is a change from previous years due to the dates of ICI’s General Membership Meeting, which will be held on May 20-22 (Tuesday – Thursday). Also, please note that GMM will be held this year at the Washington Hilton (and not the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel).
Thursday, May 22nd
ICI/EFAMA Joint Meeting: The annual joint meeting of ICI’s International Committee and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) will be held on Thursday, May 22nd immediately after the conclusion of GMM. The meeting will be held at the Washington Hilton (the location of GMM). Member associations of the International Investment Funds Association are also invited to join this meeting. The meeting will take place from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be available prior to the meeting. A detailed agenda will be provided at a later date. International Committee Dinner: The annual dinner for International Committee members and international guests will be held on the evening of Thursday, May 22nd at 6:30 p.m. Information regarding the location of the dinner will be provided at a later time. You may register for the dinner at www.ici.org/intl/dinner.
Friday, May 23rd
International Committee Meeting: ICI’s International Committee will hold a meeting from 9 -11 a.m. on Friday, May 23rd at the Institute’s offices, 1401H Street, NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC. Breakfast will be available prior to the meeting. A detailed agenda will be provided at a later date. You may register for this meeting at www.ici.org/reg/intl.
Tuesday, May 20th – Thursday, May 22nd
General Membership Meeting and Other Conferences: GMM, as well as the Mutual Funds Compliance Programs Conference, the Operations and Technology Conference and the IDC’s Fund Directors Workshop will be held on May 20-22 at the Washington Hilton.
