The next meeting of the ICI’s International Operations Advisory Committee (IOAC) will take place on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in Washington, D.C. and London with the meeting sites linked by video conference. Meeting details for each site are below:
Primary Meeting Site – Washington, D.C.
The meeting will occur from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. EST in the David Silver Conference Room, located on the 12th floor of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H. Street, Northwest, Washington, DC, 20005. The ICI is less than 5 miles (15 minutes estimated driving time) from Washington Reagan National Airport. ICI will provide a continental breakfast beginning at 7:30 a.m. and lunch at 12:00 noon. Attire for the meeting is business dress.
Please note that due to enhanced building security procedures, meeting attendees will need to check in at the first floor security desk where they will be met by ICI staff, who will provide elevator access to the ICI. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting to avoid a delay in accessing the David Silver Conference Room.
Washington Committee Dinner: On Tuesday, February 18, a committee dinner will be held at Ceiba, 701 14th St NW, Washington, DC 20005 beginning at 7:00 p.m. The restaurant’s website is www.ceibarestaurant.com/ceiba.html and the telephone number is 202-393-3983. The dinner cost is $105.00 per person, which you will pay at the time you register for the IOAC meeting and dinner. Kindly note that if your plans change and you are unable to join us for dinner, you must cancel at least 3 business days in advance to receive a refund.

Secondary Meeting Site – London
The meeting will occur from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. GMT at the office of PIMCO Europe Ltd., 11 Baker Street, London W1U 3AH. The office is located on the corner of Baker Street and George Street, just north of Portman Square. It is suggested that attendees arriving from Heathrow take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station, and those arriving from Gatwick take the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station. Taxis from Paddington and Victoria Stations, respectively, are recommended to the offices. The office is equidistant from both the Bond Street and Baker Street Tube Stations. Lunch will be available beginning at 12:00 noon. Attire for the meeting is business dress.
Upon arrival at the PIMCO Europe, Ltd., offices, attendees will receive a guest pass at the security desk before being admitted to the meeting area. The meeting will take place on the 7th floor.

In addition to recommending Shop Talk topics for this meeting during the registration process, we are requesting that members also indicate suggested topics for future meetings. We will use member responses to this question during an IOAC planning discussion at the February meeting.

An agenda and materials will be posted to the ICI website prior to the meeting date. An email notifying agenda and material availability will be sent under separate cover. Hard copies of materials will also be provided at the meeting.
