TO: DERIVATIVES MARKETS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 47-13 RE: DERIVATIVES MARKETS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING JULY 16 (CA LOCATION ADDED)

 

The next meeting of the Derivatives Markets Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, 2013.  The meeting will be held at the Investment Company Institute in Washington, D.C., with an offsite location in San Mateo, California (hosted by Franklin Templeton Investments).  The meeting will begin promptly at 12 p.m. Eastern time (9 a.m. Pacific time) and should conclude no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern time (1:00 p.m. Pacific time).  Lunch will be served in D.C. and breakfast will be served in San Mateo before the meeting.

We are pleased to have two guest speakers joining us for the meeting.  Gary Barnett, Director of Division of Swap Dealer and Intermediary Oversight, CFTC, and Brian Bussey, Associate Director for Derivatives Policy and Trading Practices, Division of Trading and Markets, SEC, will join the Committee (at separate times) to discuss regulatory priorities and developments.
