TO: VARIABLE INSURANCE PRODUCTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 12-13 RE: FINAL REMINDER: VARIABLE INSURANCE PRODUCTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING ON JUNE 19, 2013 - AGENDA ATTACHED
The next meeting of the Variable Insurance Products Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time in the 12th Floor Conference Room and should conclude no later than 2:30 p.m. Lunch will be served.
We are pleased to have several guest speakers joining us for the meeting. Bill Kotapish and Michael Kosoff, of the SEC’s Division of Investment Management, will be joining us to discuss recent SEC initiatives in the insurance products area. John Walsh and Mary Jane Wilson-Bilik, of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, will be joining us to discuss examination and compliance issues for variable insurance products, as well as recent developments regarding the variable annuity summary prospectus.
