June 20 and 21, 2013 Tax Committee Meetings in San Francisco, CA

TO: TAX COMMITTEE No. 8-13 RE: JUNE 20 AND 21, 2013 TAX COMMITTEE MEETINGS IN SAN FRANCISCO, CA

 

The next regularly-scheduled meetings of the Tax Committee will be held on June 20 and June 21, 2013, in San Francisco, California, at the offices of BlackRock, 400 Howard Street, San Francisco, California.  The Thursday, June 20 meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m. and will be preceded by lunch.  The Friday, June 21 Tax Committee meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be preceded by breakfast.  Lunch will be served at the conclusion of the meeting on Friday.  A complete preliminary agenda for both the June 20 and June 21 meetings will be distributed approximately one week prior to the meetings.

Hotel Reservations

We have arranged for a room block for Wednesday, June 19 and Thursday, June 20 at the Courtyard Marriott Downtown San Francisco, which is located at 299 2nd Street, San Francisco, California.  Please make your reservations by calling 1-800-321-2211 or 1-415-947-0700.  To receive the preferred hotel rate of $219 per night plus tax, reserve your hotel room by Friday, May 31, 2013, and identify yourself as a member of Investment Company Institute to secure the group rate.

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credit

Meeting attendees are eligible for approximately 7.00 hours of CPE credit (Taxation).  The Investment Company Institute is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (“NASBA”) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.  State boards have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.  Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be addressed to NASBA, 150 Fourth Avenue North, Suite 700, Nashville, TN 37219-2417, www.nasba.org
