International Operations Advisory Committee Meeting Notice - March 5, 2013

TO: INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 23-12 RE: INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING NOTICE - MARCH 5, 2013

 

The next meeting of the ICI International Operations Advisory Committee (“IOAC”) will take place on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20005 and Franklin Templeton Investments,  The Adelphi, 1-11 John Adam Street, 11th floor, London WC2N 6HT.  At the U.S. site, the meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m. ET and conclude at approximately 2:00 p.m. ET.  Continental breakfast and lunch will be served.  In the U.K. the meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. GMT and conclude at approximately 7:00 p.m. GMT.  Lunch will be provided in advance of the meeting. 

Committee Dinner

The ICI will host a Committee dinner for the meeting attendees in Washington D.C. on Monday, March 4 at 7:00 p.m. ET at a venue to be selected.  There will be a cost of $98.00 for the dinner, which you will pay at the time that you register.  Please note that ICI has recently raised its dinner rate to keep up with restaurant costs.  Attire for the dinner is business casual.

Online Meeting Registration

Please register for the IOAC meeting, dinner and associated events by February 1, 2013.  Registration can be accomplished online at www.ici.org/reg/ioac.  Committee members (or their substitutes) electing to attend the Committee dinner will pay the fee via credit card as part of the registration process.  Kindly note that if your plans change and you are unable to join us for dinner, you must cancel 3 business days in advance in order to receive a refund.

Agenda Planning Group

If you would like to participate on the agenda planning group for this IOAC meeting, please e-mail Diane Butler at butler@ici.org.  We will hold a planning call in January. You may also suggest future agenda items, “shop talk” discussion topics and Committee projects by using the space provided in the online registration form.  A preliminary meeting agenda will be circulated to the Committee approximately two weeks before the meeting.
