As we previously informed you, earlier this month the Financial Stability Board published for comment policy recommendations relating to securities lending and repos. [*] These recommendations are designed to improve the transparency associated with securities lending and repos, regulate securities financing, and address the structural aspects of the securities financing markets. Comments are due to the FSB by January 14, 2013.

The Institute will hold a conference call to get members’ input on our comment letter to the FSB. The call will be held on Wednesday, December 5th from 1-2 p.m. (Eastern).
