Risk Management Committee Call Scheduled for Fri., Dec. 7th, Please RSVP by Wed., Dec. 5th to Obtain Call-In Information

TO: RISK MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE No. 3-12 RE: RISK MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE CALL SCHEDULED FOR FRI., DEC. 7TH, PLEASE RSVP BY WED., DEC. 5TH TO OBTAIN CALL-IN INFORMATION

 

As you may recall, the ICI’s Risk Management Committee was scheduled to meet in-person on Tuesday, October 30th in New York City.  The meeting was postponed to a later date due to Tropical Storm Sandy.  Due to the continued disruptions in New York from the storm, we cannot, at this time, provide you a new date for this meeting, though we are hoping to reschedule it in January.  In the meantime, we have determined to hold a conference call of the Committee on Friday, December 7th from 1-3 p.m. (Eastern).  This will provide the members of the Committee an opportunity to have an informal discussion of the impact of the tropical storm on members, identify risk issues currently on their radar, and discuss issues raised by members in advance of the meeting.

At the time you RSVP, please also provide us any issue(s) you would like to add to the agenda to raise for discussion during the call. 

As soon as we have a new date for the cancelled October meeting, we will let you know.  We are hoping to have our two outside speakers, Dr. Erozan Kurtas of the SEC and Gerard Dages of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York,* who were scheduled to make presentations at the October meeting, present to the Committee when the meeting is rescheduled.
