Next Meeting of the Internal Audit Advisory Committee Scheduled for Tuesday, December 4th in Atlanta

TO: INTERNAL AUDIT ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 4-12 RE: NEXT MEETING OF THE INTERNAL AUDIT ADVISORY COMMITTEE SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, DECEMBER 4TH IN ATLANTA

 

The next meeting of the Internal Auditor Advisory Committee has been scheduled in Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday, December 4th from approximately 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Invesco has graciously agreed to host the meeting, which will be at the following location:

Invesco Ltd.
Two Peachtree Pointe
1555 Peachtree Street, NE

As is our customary practice, we will plan to host an informal dinner of the Committee on the evening before our meeting (December 3rd).  The time and location of the dinner have yet to be determined.  When making your travel plans, please consider joining us for the informal dinner. Members who attend the dinner will be billed for their pro-rata share of the meal.  To assist you in planning your trip, here are three hotels that are within a mile of Invesco’s office:

  • The Four Seasons (75 14th Street NE) 404-881-9898
  • Marriott Midtown Suites (35 14th Street NE) 404-876-8888
  • Residence Inn Atlanta Midtown (1365 Peachtree Street NE) 404-745-1000

The Institute does not have any special rate arrangements with any of these hotels.  I understand that there is a Hematology convention in Atlanta that week, which will occupy many hotel rooms, so you may want to make your arrangements sooner rather than later.

In the next month or so, I will send another memo to the Committee for members to RSVP for the meeting and for attendees to suggest topics and issues to include on the meeting agenda.  In the meantime, the Chairs of the Committee will be lining up outside speakers to address the group.  More information regarding these speakers and their presentations will be included in the next memo you receive about this meeting.
