TO: MONEY MARKET FUNDS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 25-12 RE: REMINDER - MAY 8 MONEY MARKET FUNDS ADVISORY COMMITTEE; DRAFT AGENDA ATTACHED
A meeting of the Money Market Funds Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, 2660 Woodley Rd. NW, Washington, DC. Lunch will be served beginning at Noon in Maryland A, and the meeting will begin at 12:45 p.m. Eastern in Maryland BC and will conclude no later than 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the General Membership Meeting and several other conferences and meetings at the Marriott. Following the meeting, a dinner will be held at Lebanese Taverna, 2641 Connecticut Ave. NW, beginning with drinks at 6:00 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Bob Plaze, Deputy Director of the SEC’s Division of Investment Management, will attend the meeting to discuss recent SEC reforms relating to money market fund regulation and other issues affecting money market funds. In addition, Satish Kini and David Luigs from Debevoise & Plimpton will lead a discussion on implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act.
