The next Bank, Trust and Retirement Advisory Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 13 and Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the offices of TD Ameritrade located at 717 17th Street, Denver, CO 80202. TD Ameritrade is approximately 24.3 miles (31 minutes estimated driving time) from Denver International Airport. The meetings will take place in the Keystone Room on the 17th floor. Meeting attendees will need to show ID and check in with the receptionist on the 24th floor before proceeding to the conference room. On Wednesday, June 13, lunch will be served at 12:00 noon, the meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. On Thursday, June 14, the meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. Continental breakfast will be provided before the meeting, lunch will be served at noon and the meeting is expected to continue until approximately 2:00 p.m. Attire for the meeting is business casual. Please note that all times are in Mountain Time.
Account Opening/Day 2 Meeting
On Tuesday, June 12, TD Ameritrade will host the Account Opening/Day 2 Meeting. For those interested in attending the meeting will also be held in the Keystone Room. Please follow the security process detailed above before proceeding to the conference room. The meeting will start at 11 a.m., lunch will be served around noon and conclude at 4:30 p.m. If necessary, the Account Opening/Day 2 meeting may extend to the morning of Wednesday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., prior to the BTRAC meeting. Further details will be provided closer to the meeting date. If you are planning to attend this session, at your earliest convenience please confirm to Raquel Canales at Raquel.canales@ici.org.
Hotel Accommodations
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Magnolia Hotel located at 818 17th Street, Denver, CO 80202 for the evenings of June 12th and 13th at a rate of $159 per night. The Magnolia Hotel is a short walk from TD Ameritrade. To make reservations, please call the hotel at 888/915-1110 and indicate that you are an Investment Company Institute meeting attendee. Please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible as rooms are limited. All reservations must be guaranteed by May 29, 2012 to receive the room block rate. For members planning to attend the Account Opening/Day 2 Meeting please note that the room block rate does not cover the night of June 11, 2012. Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to the day of arrival to avoid penalty.
Committee Dinner
The Committee dinner will be held on the evening of Wednesday, June 13 at the Earls Restaurant & Bar located at 1600 Glenarm Place, Suite 140, Denver, CO 80202. Earls is less than a mile and within walking distance from the Magnolia hotel. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will follow at 7:30 p.m. Committee members (or their substitutes) electing to attend the committee dinner will pay a standard amount of $85.00 via credit card as part of the registration process. Please note that if you confirm attendance for the BTRAC dinner and cancel within 3 business days of the scheduled event, you will be charged the $85.00. Attire for the dinner is business casual.
