TO: CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER COMMITTEE No. 4-12
A joint meeting of the ICI’s CCO and Compliance Advisory Committees has been scheduled in conjunction with the Institute’s Mutual Fund Compliance Programs Conference. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 9th from 12-2:45 p.m. at the Washington Marriott Wardman hotel, which is where the conference is also being held. There is no charge for attending the meeting and lunch will be served. While the Compliance Programs Conference will not begin until May 10th, the opening session of the Institute’s General Membership Meeting, which coincides with the Compliance Program Conference, will begin immediately following the joint Committee meeting (i.e., from 3-5 p.m.).
As with last year meeting, this year’s joint Committee meeting is being held in advance of the conference, rather than at the end, to better accommodate members’ travel plans. At the request of the Committee, the meeting will consist largely, if not exclusively, of members’ issues. Accordingly, we encourage members’ when RSVP’ing for the meeting to provide us issues and questions they would like to have discussed at the meeting.
Due to limited space, this meeting is restricted to members of the ICI’s CCO and Compliance Advisory Committees, or their substitutes. If you plan to attend the meeting please RSVP by either phoning Gwen Kelly (202-326-5818), sending her an email (gwen.kelly@ici.org), or faxing the attached page of this memo to her no later than Tuesday, May 1st. PLEASE DO NOT PLAN TO ATTEND THE MEETING UNLESS YOU HAVE RSVP’D FOR IT BY MAY 1st.
