Enclosed is your copy of the Institute’s 1991 Directory of Mutual
Funds, formerly called the Guide to Mutual Funds. Besides updated
listings of more than 3,000 funds by investment objective, this
edition includes a description and index of "specialty funds"
(funds that invest in certain industries or specialized segments
of the securities markets) and an index by location for state
municipal long-term and short-term bond funds.
As in the past, each entry in the Directory provides the address,
phone number, investment adviser, and other information for each
mutual fund. The list includes companies that were Institute
members as of December 5, 1990.
