The next meeting of the Municipal Securities Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 11th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time and should conclude no later than 2:00 p.m. A meeting agenda is attached.

Mary Simpkins, Senior Special Counsel, and Dave Sanchez, Attorney-Fellow, of the SEC’s Office of Municipal Securities, have been invited to attend the meeting to discuss the SEC’s implementation of the Dodd-Frank provisions and the SEC’s initiatives related to the municipal securities market.
