TO: SEC RULES COMMITTEE No. 76-11 RE: NOTICE OF SEC RULES COMMITTEE MEETING AND DINNER ON OCTOBER 26 – 27; OFFSITE LOCATION

 

An in-person meeting of the SEC Rules Committee has been scheduled for Thursday, October 27th with a dinner on October 26th. The meeting will be held at the Almas Conference Center, Sphinx Club, 1315 K Street, NW, Washington, DC. As in past October meetings, we are planning a full-day program beginning at 9:00 a.m. EST and ending by 3:30 p.m.

We are pleased to announce that Eileen Rominger, Director of the Division of Investment Management at the SEC, will be a guest speaker. A draft meeting agenda will be circulated before the meeting.

Committee Dinner

A cocktail reception and dinner will be held the evening of Wednesday, October 26th at Acadiana, 901 New York Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. The reception will begin at 6:30 pm, followed by dinner at 7:15 pm. If you plan to attend, please register as directed below. Dinner attendees will be charged $85.00. Please note that if you cancel within 72 hours of the reception and dinner, your payment will not be refunded.

Meeting Registration

Please register for the meeting on at http://members.ici.org/reg/secrules. In completing the online registration, please provide any suggested topics for discussion at the meeting. Hotel Accommodations

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza, 1001 14th Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. for the evening of October 26th at a rate of $ 289.00 per night. To make reservations, please call the hotel at (877) 270-1393, or reserve online at www.ichotelsgroup.com/CrownePlaza. Due to the limited number of rooms, all reservations must be guaranteed by September 30th. Reservations must be cancelled at least 72 hours in advance to avoid penalty.
