TO: CLOSED-END INVESTMENT COMPANY COMMITTEE No. 36-11 RE: NOTICE OF CLOSED-END INVESTMENT COMPANY COMMITTEE MEETING - WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH, 2011 IN NEW YORK CITY

 

A meeting of the Closed-End Investment Company Committee has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 16th at the offices of UBS, 1285 Avenue of the Americas, 12th Floor, New York, NY. The meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time and end at approximately 6:30 p.m. A brief cocktail reception will be held immediately after the formal business of the meeting concludes.

Please also note that the ICI will be having the 2011 Closed-End Fund Conference on Thursday, November 17th at the New York Marriott Downtown, 85 West Street at Albany Street, New York, NY. The conference will feature industry experts discussing the most recent regulatory and market developments affecting closed-end funds. Online Registration

We are offering online registration for members attending the committee meeting. If you plan to attend the meeting, please register no later than November 2, 2011 by registering through the following link: http://members.ici.org/reg/cef. This will enable us to determine the number of attendees to expect and ensure we have adequate space and food and beverages. When you register, please provide potential topics you would like to discuss at the meeting. We will be sending out an agenda closer to the meeting date.
