TO: TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE No. 5-11 RE: TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE MEETING - JULY 21 & 22, 2011

 

The next meeting of the Technology Committee will take place on Thursday and Friday, July 21 & 22, 2011 in the 11th Floor Conference Room of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. on July 21 and 22 and conclude at approximately 3:00 p.m. on both days. Participants are encouraged to attend both meetings.

Committee members (or their substitutes) electing to attend the committee dinner will pay the standard amount of $85.00 via credit card as part of the registration process. Committee Dinner

The Committee dinner will be held on Thursday, July 21st at a venue to be determined. Attire for the dinner is business casual.   Kindly note that dinner cancellations must be made at least 3 business days in advance of the event in order to receive a refund of your payment.

Hotel

The Institute has reserved a block of rooms at the Sofitel Washington located at 806 15th Street, NW, Washington, DC, for the evenings of July 20 and 21 at a rate of $289 single/double. To make reservations, please call the hotel at (202) 730-8800 and ask for a room in the ICI Technology Committee room block. The hotel requires all reservations be guaranteed with a one night’s deposit by Monday, June 27, 2011 to receive the room block rate. Deposits are refundable if the hotel receives notice of cancellation at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
