TO: BROKER/DEALER ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 29-11 RE: BDAC MEETING NOTICE - JULY 27-28, 2011
The next meeting of the Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee will take place on Wednesday, July 27 and Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the offices of Goldman, Sachs & Company located at 71 South Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60606. Goldman Sachs is approximately 18 miles from Chicago O’Hare International Airport and approximately 12 miles from Chicago Midway International Airport. The meetings will take place in the Client Center Conference Room 5E on the fifth floor. Please check in with security on the first floor before proceeding to the conference room. On Wednesday, July 27, lunch will be served at noon, the meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. On Thursday, July 28, continental breakfast will be available at 8:15 a.m., the meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m., lunch will be served at noon and the meeting is expected to conclude by 2:00 p.m. Please note that all times are Central Time. Attire for the meeting is business casual.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown located at 1 West Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL, 60601 for the evenings of July 26th and July 27th at a rate of $219.00 per night. Goldman, Sachs & Company is a mile from the Renaissance hotel. To make reservations, please call the hotel at (312) 372-7200 and indicate that you are an Investment Company Institute meeting attendee. Please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible as rooms are limited. All reservations must be guaranteed by July 5, 2011 to receive the block room rate. Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to the day of arrival to avoid penalty.
The Committee dinner will be held on the evening of Wednesday, July 27. Further details on the dinner location will be forthcoming. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will follow at 7:30 p.m. Committee members (or their substitutes) electing to attend the committee dinner will pay a standard amount of $98.00 via credit card as part of the registration process. Please note that if you confirm attendance for the BDAC dinner and cancel within 3 business days of the scheduled event, you will be charged the $98.00. Attire for the dinner is business casual.
