As we discussed, attached is our draft comment letter responding to the Department of Labor’s request for information on e-delivery rules. [1] Our letter recommends that the Department move away from its 2002 rule and allow plans to make e-delivery the general method for communicating with participants (unless participants opt for paper). The letter sets out general principles for how and why the Department should accomplish this transition and responds to the specific questions in the RFI.
