SEC RULES COMMITTEE No. 53-11 RE: REMINDER -- DERIVATIVES MARKETS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING JUNE 15; DRAFT AGENDA ATTACHED
The inaugural meeting of the Derivatives Markets Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time in the David Silver Conference Room and should conclude no later than 4:30 p.m. [1] Lunch will be served beginning at 12:30 p.m. A draft meeting agenda is attached.
In addition to a discussion of the agenda items, Robert Cook, Director of the SEC’s Division of Trading and Markets, and Dan Berkovitz, General Counsel of the CFTC, will attend the meeting to discuss the agencies’ swap-related initiatives. Given the number of significant issues currently being examined relating to derivatives markets reform, please make every effort to send a representative from your firm to the meeting.

Please note that ICI’s Equity Markets Advisory Committee meeting also is scheduled for Wednesday, June 15, 2011 and will be held prior to the Derivatives Markets Advisory Committee meeting, beginning at 9:00 a.m. That Committee will discuss equity trading and market structure issues.
