SEC RULES COMMITTEE No. 41-11 RE: SAVE THE DATE -- DERIVATIVES MARKETS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING JUNE 15
The inaugural meeting of the Derivatives Markets Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time in the David Silver Conference Room and should conclude no later than 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be served beginning at 12:30 p.m. [*]
During the meeting, we will discuss current legal, regulatory and legislative issues affecting the derivatives markets, focusing primarily on the swaps markets. We also will formulate the future direction of the Committee and discuss any particular policy objectives and projects the membership wishes to undertake consistent with the Committee’s mission. In addition, we will hear from SEC and CFTC speakers regarding outstanding swap rule proposals. A draft agenda will follow under separate cover.
