A Tax Committee conference call has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 29, at 2:30 p.m. (Eastern) to discuss the implementation issues arising under the RIC Modernization legislation that were reviewed last week with the ICI’s Tax Advisory Group (composed largely of lawyers and accountants from national law and accounting firms). The call-in number is 888-790-3401 and the passcode is 47104.
A memorandum (based upon the one distributed to the Tax Committee on March 11) [1] that summarizes the Tax Advisory Group meeting deliberations will be distributed in advance of the March 29 call.
