Below, please find information about the May 2-3 meetings of ICI’s International Committee and the Committee dinner.
Monday, May 2nd
International Committee Meeting: The next meeting of ICI’s International Committee will be held on Monday, May 2nd, from1 -3 p.m. in the Institute’s David Silver Conference Room (DSCR), 1401H Street, NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC. Lunch will be served prior to the meeting.
At this meeting, we will have a presentation on the Hong Kong asset management industry by Sally Wong, Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association, followed by ample time for discussion regarding the challenges and opportunities in Hong Kong and China. We may also have an additional presentation by a representative of another Asian fund association. A more detailed agenda will be sent at a later time. International Committee Dinner: The annual dinner for International Committee members and international guests attending the Institute’s General Membership Meeting will be held on the evening of Monday, May 2nd. The dinner will be held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, 2660 Woodley Road, NW, Washington, DC (the location of GMM), beginning at 6:30 p.m. Please register for the dinner via Cvent at http://members.ici.org/reg/ic/dinner.
Tuesday, May 3rd
ICI/EFAMA Joint Meeting: The annual joint meeting of ICI’s International Committee and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) will be held the following day, Tuesday, May 3rd. The meeting will be held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. Representatives of the Asian and Latin American fund associations, as well as members of ICI’s International Operations Advisory Committee, have been invited to participate. The meeting will take place from 9 a.m. until approximately 4 p.m. Breakfast will be available beginning at 8:30 a.m. and lunch will be served during the meeting. A draft agenda is attached. Wednesday, May 4th
International Operations Advisory Committee Meeting: Committee members are also invited to participate in the International Operations Advisory Committee meeting on Wednesday, May 4th at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. The meeting will begin promptly at 8 a.m. and will continue until approximately 1 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. General Membership Meeting: ICI’s General Membership Meeting will be held on May 4-6. Information about GMM, as well as the other ICI conferences being held concurrently, is available at http://gmm.ici.org/index.
