The Institute has formed a new advisory committee, the “Derivatives Markets Advisory Committee” to examine the legal, regulatory and legislative issues affecting the derivatives markets.  The Committee will provide a forum for members to discuss particular policy objectives and to undertake projects related to the market structure for, and trading in, derivatives.  At this time, the Committee will largely focus on issues related to the implementation of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

Those members that have persons interested in serving on the Derivatives Markets Advisory Committee should contact the undersigned by phone (202/326-5920) or email (htraeger@ici.org) to be added to the Committee roster.  (Membership on the Committee is limited to three representatives per member.)  Similarly, if you have any questions about the Committee, please contact the undersigned.
