The  joint meeting of the Pension and Pension Operations Advisory Committees will take place on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time.  The meeting will take place in the David Silver Conference Room at the Institute’s offices located at 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC.  Lunch will be served.

Agenda

A preliminary meeting agenda is attached.  If you have additional issues you would like to discuss at the February 8th meeting, please submit them in advance on the attached response form or to Anna Driggs (adriggs@ici.org or 202/218-3573).  The agenda also will include time for members to discuss reporting and compliance issues—we would appreciate if you would include those items on the meeting response form.

Greg Dean, Chief Counsel and Pension Policy Director at the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, for Ranking Member Mike Enzi (R-WY)

Michael Kreps, Pensions Counsel, the Senate HELP Committee for Chairman Tom Harkin (D-IA)

We also have invited outside counsel to speak on challenges for the mutual fund industry on the retirement regulatory front.

February 7th Dinner

We are organizing a dinner for the evening of Monday, February 7th at 6:30 p.m. for members and ICI staff who would like to get together informally.  Please let us know if you would be interested in joining this dinner by sending an email to bturner@ici.org or returning the attached response form.  Further details will be sent to those interested in attending the dinner.
