TO: MUNICIPAL SECURITIES ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 44-10 RE: REMINDER: DECEMBER 3 MUNICIPAL SECURITIES ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING; DRAFT AGENDA ATTACHED
The next meeting of the Municipal Securities Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Friday, December 3, 2010, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time in the 11th Floor Conference Room and should conclude no later than 2:30 p.m.
SEC Commissioner Elisse Walter will attend the meeting to discuss SEC initiatives affecting municipal securities. Also, Hal Johnson, Deputy Executive Director, from the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board will attend the meeting to discuss MSRB efforts to implement provisions of the Dodd-Frank Act, among other things. We encourage you to attend the meeting and take advantage of this unique opportunity to speak informally with Commissioner Walter and Deputy Executive Director Johnson.
