TO: TAX COMMITTEE No. 25-10 RE: OCTOBER TAX COMMITTEE MEETINGS - HOTEL ROOM BLOCK INFORMATION
The October meetings of the Tax Committee will be held on Monday, October 11, and Tuesday, October 12. Following Committee practice, the October 11 meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m., and focus on one issue (to be determined a few weeks before the meeting). The October 12 meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m., and involve a discussion of all issues of interest to the Tax Committee, including the ICI’s tax agenda and recent legislative and regulatory developments.
The meetings will be held (due to construction within the ICI’s offices) at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza. This hotel, which is located on the corner of 14th and K Streets (NW), is only two blocks from the ICI.
Hotel Room Block
We have arranged for a block of Crowne Plaza hotel rooms to be reserved for meeting attendees. If you would like to reserve a room for Monday evening (at a special $219 rate), please contact the Crowne Plaza Hotel reservations office (1-800-263-9802) before September 13 and mention the Investment Company Institute rate.
Dinner
Arrangements will be made for a group dinner on Monday, October 11. More details regarding the dinner will be distributed in advance of the meeting.
