BDAC Meeting Notice - October 20-21, 2010

TO: BROKER/DEALER ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 32-10 RE: BDAC MEETING NOTICE - OCTOBER 20-21, 2010

 

The next meeting of the Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee will take place on Wednesday, October 20 and Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the Janus offices at 151 Detroit Street, Denver, CO 80206.  The sessions will take place in the Mount Discovery conference room. Please check in with security on the first floor before proceeding to the conference room.  On Wednesday, October 20, lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m., the meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. On Thursday, October 21, continental breakfast will be available at 8:15 a.m., the meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m., lunch will be served at noon and the meeting is expected to conclude by 2:00 p.m. Attire for the meeting is business casual.

Hotel Accommodations

A block of rooms have been reserved at the J.W. Marriott Denver at Cherry Creek located at 150 Clayton Lane, Denver, CO 80206 for the evenings of October 19th and 20th at a rate of $229.00 per night. It is approximately a 35 to 40 minute car/cab ride from the Denver International Airport. To make reservations, please call the hotel at (303) 316-2700 and indicate that you are an Investment Company Institute Company attendee. Please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible as rooms as limited. All reservations must be guaranteed by September 28, 2010 to receive the block room rate. Committee Dinner

The committee dinner will be held on the evening of Wednesday, October 20. More information regarding the dinner will be forthcoming. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. with dinner being served at approximately 7:30 p.m. Committee members (or their substitutes) electing to attend the committee dinner will pay a standard amount of $98.00 via credit card as part of the registration process. Please note that if you confirm attendance for the BDAC dinner and cancel within 3 business days of the scheduled event, you will be charged the $98.00. Attire for the dinner is business casual.
