TO: VARIABLE INSURANCE PRODUCTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 4-10 RE: REMINDER: VARIABLE INSURANCE PRODUCTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING JULY 8; DRAFT AGENDA ATTACHED
The next meeting of the Variable Insurance Products Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Thursday, July 8, 2010, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time in the David Silver Conference Room and should conclude no later than 1:00 p.m. A draft of the meeting agenda is attached.
Susan Nash, Associate Director, and Bill Kotapish, Assistant Director, from the SEC’s Office of Investment Management will attend the meeting to discuss recent developments at the SEC affecting variable insurance products. Also, Mary Jane Wilson-Bilik, a partner at Sutherland and counsel to The Committee of Annuity Insurers, will attend the meeting to discuss issues related to the summary prospectus.
