TO: BROKER/DEALER ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 19-10 RE: BDAC MEETING NOTICE - JULY 21-22, 2010
The next meeting of the Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee will take place on Wednesday, July 21 and Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the offices of Putnam Investments located at One Post Office Square, Boston, MA 02109. Putnam Investments is approximately 4 miles (11 minutes estimated driving time) from Logan International Airport. The sessions will take place on the eighth floor in the Audiovisual Room. Please check in with security on the first floor before proceeding to the conference room. On Wednesday, July 21, lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m., the meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. On Thursday, July 22, continental breakfast will be available at 8:15 a.m., the meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m., lunch will be served at noon and the meeting is expected to conclude by 2:00 p.m. Please note that the times are in Eastern Standard Time. Attire for the meeting is business.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf located at 296 State Street, Boston, MA, 02109 for the evenings of July 20th and 21st at a rate of $199.00 per night. Putnam Investments is less than a mile (about a 10-minute walk) from the Boston Marriott Long Wharf. To make reservations, please call the hotel at (617) 227-0800 and indicate that you are an Investment Company Institute meeting attendee. Please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible as rooms are limited. All reservations must be guaranteed by July 2, 2010 to receive the block room rate. Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to the day of arrival to avoid penalty.
The Committee dinner will be held on the evening of Wednesday, July 21 at Lucca in the North End at 226 Hanover Street in Boston, MA. The restaurant is approximately ½ mile from the Marriott Long Wharf Hotel. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will follow at 7:30 p.m. Committee members (or their substitutes) electing to attend the committee dinner will pay a standard amount of $85.00 via credit card as part of the registration process. Please note that if you confirm attendance for the BDAC dinner and cancel within 3 business days of the scheduled event, you will be charged the $85.00. Attire for the dinner is business casual.
