Technology Committee Meeting - June 10 & 11, 2010

TO: TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE No. 5-10     RE: TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE MEETING - JUNE 10 & 11, 2010

 

The next meeting of the Technology Committee will take place on Thursday and Friday, June 10 & 11, 2010 at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, David Silver Conference Room, 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. on June 10 and 11 and conclude at approximately 3:00 p.m. on both days. Participants are encouraged to attend both meetings.

 

Hotel

The Institute has reserved a block of rooms at the Sofitel Washington located at 806 15th Street, NW, Washington, DC, for the evenings of June 9 and 10 at a rate of $275 single/double. Please note that only a small number of rooms are available for the evening of June 9. To make reservations, please call the hotel at (202) 730-8800 and ask for a room in the Investment Company Institute’s room block. The hotel requires all reservations be guaranteed with a one night’s deposit by Monday, May 10, 2010 to receive the room block rate. Deposits are refundable if the hotel receives notice of cancellation at least 48 hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.

 

Committee Dinner

There is a committee dinner scheduled for June 10th at Bibiana Osteria & Enoteca at 1100 New York Avenue, NW (entrance on 12th & H Streets), PH: (202) 216-9550. A reception will begin at 6:30 followed by dinner at 7:00. If you plan to sign up for the dinner, there will be a cost of $85.00.  Kindly note that dinner cancellations must be made at least 3 business days in advance of the event in order to receive a refund of your payment.

Please register for this committee meeting and dinner using our Cvent online registration at http://members.ici.org/reg/tech. Committee members (or their substitutes) electing to attend the committee dinner will pay the standard amount of $85.00 via credit card as part of the registration process.
