Preliminary Agendas for International Committee and ICI-EFAMA Meetings and Information for Committee Dinner - May 4 and 5, 2010

INTERNATIONAL INVESTING SUBCOMMITTEE No. 2-10     RE: PRELIMINARY AGENDAS FOR INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE AND ICI-EFAMA MEETINGS AND INFORMATION FOR COMMITTEE DINNER - MAY 4 AND 5, 2010

 

As we recently notified you, the next meeting of the International Committee will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, from1:00-3:00 p.m. in the Institute’s David Silver Conference Room (DSCR), 1401H Street, NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC.  Committee members are also invited to participate in the ICI’s International Operations Advisory Committee meeting that same morning, beginning at 8:00 a.m., also in the DSCR.

 

A joint meeting of the ICI’s International Committee and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) will be held the following day, Wednesday, May 5th.  New this year, the meeting will be held at The Marriott Wardman Park Hotel (Washington Room), 2660 Woodley Road, NW, Washington, DC (the location of GMM).  The meeting will begin at 8:15 a.m., with continental breakfast available before the meeting at 7:45 a.m.  The ICI-EFAMA meeting will last until 3:00 p.m., with lunch served during the meeting.

 

The annual dinner for International Committee members and international guests attending the Institute’s General Membership Meeting will be held on the evening of Tuesday, May 4th.  The reception and dinner will be held at Lebanese Taverna, 2641 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, beginning at 6:30 p.m.  The restaurant is a short walk from the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.

 

Preliminary agendas for the International Committee and the ICI-EFAMA meetings are attached to this memorandum.  The preliminary agenda for the IOAC meeting will be available shortly. If you have not yet registered for these meetings and wish to do so, please register online via Cvent at http://members.ici.org/reg/ic as soon as possible.  A response for the dinner is also attached to this memorandum.
