TO: BANK, TRUST AND RECORDKEEPER ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 9-10 RE: BTRAC MEETING NOTICE - JUNE 16-17, 2010
The next meeting of the Bank, Trust and Recordkeeper Advisory Committee will be held on Wednesday, June 16 and Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the offices of Fidelity Investments located at 900 Salem Street, Smithfield, RI 02917. Fidelity Investments is approximately 19 miles from the Theodore Francis Green Airport in Warwick, RI and 56 miles from Logan International Airport in Boston, MA. Parking is available on-site. The meetings will take place in Gallery B&C Conference Rooms on the ground level. Meeting attendees will need to show a photo ID to security on the first floor before proceeding to the conference room one floor below on the ground level. On Wednesday, June 16, lunch will be served at 12:00 noon, the meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. On Thursday, June 17, the meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. Continental breakfast will be provided before the meeting, lunch will be served at noon and the meeting is expected to continue until approximately 2:00 p.m. Attire for the meeting is business casual. Please note that all times are Eastern Time.
Hotel Accommodations
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Westin Providence located at 1 West Exchange Street, Providence, RI 02903 for the evenings of June 15th and 16th at a rate of $129.00 per night. The Westin Providence is approximately a 15-20 minute drive from Fidelity. To make reservations, please call the hotel at (401) 598-8000 and indicate that you are an Investment Company Institute meeting attendee. Please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible as rooms are limited. All reservations must be guaranteed by May 16, 2010 to receive the room block rate. Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to the day of arrival to avoid penalty.
** We have arranged for a shuttle bus to take meeting attendees to and from the Westin and Fidelity offices on both June 16 and 17. At the conclusion of the meeting on Thursday, June 17, the bus will provide transportation to T.F. Green Airport in Warwick and the Westin Providence. (These arrangements will be scheduled during the online registration process). Further information regarding the shuttle bus schedule will be sent under separate cover closer to the meeting dates.
Committee Dinner
The Committee dinner will be held on the evening of Wednesday, June 16, at the Mediterraneo Restaurant located at 134 Atwells Avenue, Providence, RI 02903 (401/331-7760). The Mediterraneo is less than a mile from the Westin Providence. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. with dinner being served at 7:30 p.m. Committee members (or their substitutes) electing to attend the committee dinner will pay a standard amount of $85.00 via credit card as part of the registration process. Please note that if you confirm attendance for the BTRAC dinner and cancel within 3 business days of the scheduled event, you will be charged the $85.00. Attire for the dinner is business casual.
