TO: TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE No. 1-10     RE: TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE MEETING - FEBRUARY 18 & 19, 2010 - ONLINE REGISTRATION

 

The next meeting of the Technology Committee will take place on Thursday and Friday, February 18 & 19, 2010 at the offices of Franklin Templeton Investments, 100 Fountain Parkway,
St. Petersburg, FL. The Committee meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. on February 18 and 19 and conclude at approximately 3:00 p.m. on both days. Participants are encouraged to attend both meetings.

 

Online Registration

Please register for the Technology Committee meeting and associated dinner using our Cvent online registration at http://members.ici.org/reg/tech.

 

Also, please remember to submit your discussion topics for “Shop Talk.” Space is provided for you in Cvent to list your suggestions or you can email Peter Salmon at salmon@ici.org.

 

Hotel

The Institute has reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Carillon Park, located at 950 Lake Carillon Drive, St. Petersburg, FL for the evenings of February 17 & 18 at a rate of $149.00 single/double. Please note that only a small number of rooms are available for the evening of February 17. To make reservations, please call the hotel at (727) 540-0050 and ask for a room in the Investment Company Institute’s (ICI) room block. The hotel requires all reservations be guaranteed with a one night’s deposit by Tuesday January 19, 2010 to receive the room block rate. Deposits are refundable if the hotel receives notice of cancellation at least 72 hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.

 

Committee Dinner

The committee dinner will be held on Thursday, February 18th at 6:30 at a venue to be determined. Committee members (or their substitutes) electing to attend the committee dinner will pay a flat amount of $85.00 via credit card as part of the registration process. Kindly note that dinner cancellations must be made 3 business days in advance of the event in order to receive a refund of your payment. Attire for the dinner is business casual.
