TO: INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 16-09     RE: 2010 IOAC MEETING SCHEDULE

Please mark your calendar for the following International Operations Advisory Committee meetings scheduled in 2010:

Tuesday, March 2
Tuesday-Wednesday, May 4-5
Thursday, September 30 Dublin, Ireland – State Street International Limited
Washington, D.C. – Investment Company Institute
Luxembourg & Boston – Brown Brothers Harriman

For the March meeting, which will be hosted by State Street International in Dublin, we are considering arranging for a video conference with a U.S. location.  Please provide your feedback on including a U.S. location/video conference option for the March meeting to Diane at butler@ici.org or 202-326-5850.

The September meeting will be hosted by Brown Brothers Harriman in both their Luxembourg and Boston offices, with a video conference linking the two locations.

We are looking for Committee members’ assistance in developing the agendas for the 2010 IOAC meetings.  The March agenda will focus primarily on the Irish domiciled fund market, so if that is your area of expertise please volunteer by contacting Diane at 202-326-5850 or butler@ici.org

The ICI’s Operations & Technology and Compliance Conferences will be held along with the ICI General Membership Meeting (GMM) May 5-7, so the May IOAC meeting attendees will have the opportunity to attend sessions from all three conferences in one location for one conference registration fee.  Ghassan will be facilitating a discussion group on global transfer agency challenges as part of the O&T Conference program, similar to the roundtable discussions held at the May and September 2009 IOAC meetings.  If you will be in attendance at the joint conferences, we would welcome your participation in the discussion group.

Further details regarding each meeting will be sent to you approximately 8 weeks prior to the scheduled meeting date.  We look forward to seeing you in 2010!
