TO: VARIABLE INSURANCE PRODUCTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 20-09 RE: MARK YOUR CALENDAR -- NOVEMBER 10 VARIABLE INSURANCE PRODUCTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING; DRAFT AGENDA ATTACHED
A meeting of the Variable Insurance Products Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time in the 12 West Conference Room and should conclude no later than 2:00 p.m.
We will be joined by Susan Nash from the Division of Investment Management at the Securities and Exchange Commission. She will address current SEC proposals and initiatives impacting variable insurance products, including summary prospectus issues. We encourage you, or another member of your firm, to attend.
