TO: TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE No. 22-09 RE: TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE MEETING, NOVEMBER 5 & 6, 2009 - TO REMIND
The next meeting of the Technology Committee and BCP Sub-Committee will take place on Thursday and Friday, November 5 & 6, 2009 at the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, David Silver Conference Room, 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. on both days.
The November meeting will be structured the same way as prior Technology Committee meetings in 2009. We will have a separate BCP track on the agenda. Each day the BCP Sub-Committee will separate from the Technology Committee and have discussions and presentations specifically aimed at their interests. The two groups will spend time each day together as well to more effectively cover items of more general relevance.
If you have not done so yet, please register for the meeting and associated dinner a.s.a.p. using our Cvent online registration at http://members.ici.org/reg/tech. When you register, please remember to submit your discussion topics for “Shop Talk.” Space is provided for you in Cvent to list your suggestions or you can email Peter Salmon at salmon@ici.org.
The Committee dinner is scheduled for November 5th at Zentan in the Donovan House Hotel, 1155 14th Street, NW, PH: (202) 737-1200. A reception will begin at 6:30 followed by dinner. Committee members (or their substitutes) electing to attend the committee dinner will pay a flat amount of $85.00 via credit card as part of the registration process. Kindly note that dinner cancellations must be made 3 business days in advance of the event in order to receive a refund of your payment. Attire for the dinner is business casual.
If you have any questions regarding the meeting you may contact Peter Salmon at 202/326-5869 or salmon@ici.org. We look forward to seeing you in Washington!
