TO: CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER COMMITTEE No. 16-09     RE: CCO COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 27TH; REMINDER OF NOVEMBER 17TH COMMITTEE CONFERENCE CALL

Earlier this month we announced that the meeting of the ICI’s CCO Committee, which had been scheduled for November 17th had to be postponed until January in order to coincide with the SEC’s National CCOutreach program.  While the SEC had originally scheduled its program for November 16th, it was cancelled and postponed until January, though at the time of the postponement the SEC had not yet determined a new date.  The SEC has announced that the new date for its meeting is Tuesday, January 26th.  Accordingly, we have rescheduled the ICI’s meeting for Wednesday, January 27th.  The ICI’s meeting, which will be held at a location in Washington, D.C. that is yet to be determined, will run from approximately 10 a.m. (Eastern) until approximately 2:30 p.m.  Additional information regarding the meeting will be sent out in December but, in the meantime, please save this date and plan to attend.

We would also like to remind you that, in lieu of the in-person meeting in November, we will be holding a meeting of the Committee on Tuesday, November 17th from 2-3:30 p.m. (Eastern) via conference call. We are in the process of compiling an agenda based on the numerous issues that members provided to us in their response to the ICI’s email soliciting interest in a telephonic meeting.

If you plan to participate in the November conference call, please contact Ezella Wynn by phone or email (ewynn@ici.org) for the call-in details.  (This will enable us to track the number of phone lines we will need to sponsor for the call.)  If you have any questions about the call, please contact Tami Salmon at the ICI by phone (202-326-5825) or email (tamara@ici.org).
