TO: RISK MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE No. 12-09 RE: THE COMMITTEE'S NEW STATUS AS A STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE ICI
As you may know, David Martin, the Chair of the ICI’s Risk Management Advisory Committee since its inception, has been working to have the Committee’s status changed from an Advisory Committee to a permanent standing committee of the Institute. I am very pleased to inform you that, as a result of his efforts, the Institute’s Board of Governors recently approved a change in the Committee’s status. Effective October 1, 2009, the Committee is now the Risk Management Committee of the Institute. I am also very pleased to inform you that David Martin has been approved by the Institute’s Board of Governors as the Chair of the permanent standing committee.
