The next meeting of the Equity Markets Advisory Committee will be Tuesday, June 23, 2009. The meeting will take place at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at Noon Eastern time. The final meeting agenda is attached.
James Brigagliano and Daniel Gallagher, Co-Acting Directors of the SEC’s Division of Trading and Markets, will attend the meeting to discuss trading and market structure initiatives at the SEC. Thomas Gira, Executive Vice President, Market Regulation at FINRA also will attend to discuss trading and market regulation issues at FINRA. Given the number of significant issues currently being examined relating to trading and market structure reform, please make every effort to send a representative from your firm to the meeting. We anticipate that the meeting will conclude no later than 4:00 p.m.
