SEC RULES COMMITTEE No. 22-09 RE: REMINDER - MAY 14 INSTITUTIONAL MONEY MARKET FUNDS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING; FINAL AGENDA ATTACHED
As we previously informed you, a meeting of the Institutional Money Market Funds Advisory Committee has been scheduled for this Thursday, May 14, 2009, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at Noon Eastern time in the David Silver Conference Room and should conclude no later than 5:00 p.m. The final agenda is attached.
At the beginning of the meeting, Peter Crane, President and CEO of Crane Data LLC, will give a presentation regarding the state of the money market fund industry. For most of the remainder of the meeting, we plan to discuss in detail the recommendations from the Report of the Money Market Working Group (available at http://www.ici.org/mmf/) and issues associated with their implementation. Given the significance of this topic, we strongly encourage all members that manage money market funds to ensure that they are represented at this meeting.
