TO: TAX COMMITTEE No. 13-09     RE: TREASURY AND IRS INVITE COMMENTS ON RECOMMENDATIONS FOR 2009-2010 GUIDANCE PRIORITY LIST

 

Notice 2009-43 [1] invites public comments on recommendations for the Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service’s 2009-2010 Guidance Priority List.  The Institute plans to submit our tax and pension recommendations by May 31, 2009, the deadline set forth in the notice. 

Please contact Keith Lawson (202-326-5832 or lawson@ici.org) or me (202-371-5432 or kgibian@ici.org) to discuss issues to be included in the Institute’s letter.  We also will discuss recommendations that the Institute should make relating to tax issues during May’s monthly tax call on Wednesday, May 13, at 2:00 pm ET.
